First of all, we will simply answer your immediate question – RNG stands for Random Number Generator. Now that that is out of the way, we can answer the follow-up question; an RNG is a device or a computer program that is designed to generate numbers without any pattern. RNGs are most often used in sports, board games, statistical sampling, computer simulations, online casinos, and cryptography (the art of writing secret messages). Some of the most common, non-electronic, RNGs are dice, bingo balls and baskets, coins (heads and tails), shuffled sticks, and shuffled playing cards.

When it comes to online casinos, RNGs are the life’s’ blood of how things are run. Without an RNG, people would be able to guess and even calculate which numbers or symbols would appear during games. In other words, without RNGs online gaming would be less than fair – would you want to risk your own money to a play game that wasn’t 100% fair using 100% randomly generated numbers? We didn’t think so.

No worries. Palace of Chance uses RNGs on all of our games so that everyone has an equal chance at winning. Come on over, play our selection of the world’s best online games, and enjoy the pleasures that our RNGs can provide.
